Every New Years Day, weather permitting, central Virginia riders get together to enjoy a ride and lunch at a Chinese restaurant.

Even with the warm weather, there was a light turn out for the ride today. A guy who restores old Japanese motorcycles for a living showed up on this CB750 that ran like new. I didn't continue with them but instead came home. When I arrived home, my son was snapping some pictures on the yard with his toy NSA drone, that little thing is pretty cool. I couldn't resist a turn and promptly got it stuck in a tree! I was able to shake it off the branch by tossing a wrench with a rope attached to it near the drone and then pulling like mad, it worked! WHEW!

Some Iron Butt guy showed up on this FJR...a bit of overkill for a ride to lunch!

Another guy showed up on this absolutely mad looking R1. In the picture you can't appreciate all the carbon fiber

Me playing NSA spy and taking a picture of myself with Gabriel's drone...this picture was taken about 3 seconds before the wind took over and blew it into a tree!

Happy New Year to you all. May you have peace, happiness, health and love in 2016!
Sounds like a good day... Good photos.
Some cool looking bikes there. Glad the weather cooperated for you.
Those factory RLETS look great on that CB750
Never seen a cowl like the one on the 750, pretty sweet

What an eye!
Awesome Eddie. The drone pic is cool. We had one taking pics at our last rally.
Wonderful. Happy New Year!
The factory RLETs on the 750 look a bit longer in the shaft to me. Interesting design change.
