Hey, that's encouraging. I use Bridgestone BT-45s on the CB750 and have gotten used to changing the rear out at around 10K.
I ride every day, but my commute is only 10 miles roundtrip. I also split my riding time with the 750, so it'll probably be awhile before I have to worry about it. I'm only 2400 miles so far.
6300 glorious, trouble-free miles. What's not to like?
This is embarrassing, but as of this weekend she has a grand total of 2563 miles. AFAIK, I was the first to take delivery too. UGH!!!!!!!

I haven't hit 800 yet.
48.500 km this week. Not burning oil at all, no cylinder grindingneeded. What is more, I adjusted valve clearance at 3.000 km and still within tolerance. No oil leaks... not getting old by now. If I clean it one could think it is brand new.
No idea how you guys are getting so many miles out of the stock Bridgestones. My '17 EX's rear tire burned down into the silver-colored cords by 6,000 miles. The front was badly cupped, but still had plenty of tread.

Maybe it has something to do with the quality and condition of the road asphalt. Given MMC's success, I reckon he enjoys the best asphalt freeways has to offer in California. Compare that to nor-eastern states/provinces where surfaces buckles and deteriorate annually and take their toll on tires. Just a thought.
Example: Some of the worse surfaces I have consistently seen is in urban NJ, and practically forever in Montreal (since the '70s!). Ann Arbor, MI used to be horrid, but recently they have fixed much of that.
