Great pics, Ferret!

(I find myself glancing a sideways peek at the cool bike in the window when I ride by.) I'm envious of your very fun roads.

I took about a 310-mile loop today, 106 F and lots of wheat harvest equipment on the roads. Many of the combines take up over one and a half lanes of highway when they're transiting between fields.

Chapomis, my gear selection is all over the place. On the day in the pics I had an HJC modular, Technic perforated leather jacket with t shirt from 1st rally underneath, Hi Viz vest over top, blue jeans, lace up boots, no gloves. Another day it will be a Tourmaster mesh jacket, hi viz best, jeans, mesh gloves, 3/4 helmet, short riding boots. Another day I will be fully geared like I was going on a tour with HJC helmet, Tourmaster Jacket and Pants, hi viz vest, tall boots, deerskin gloves. I have also gone out in an open face helmet w/ flat shield, t shirt, jeans and gym shoes. Just no telling with me. All the gear, most of the gear, some of the gear, hardly any gear, all the time lol.

Usually we get about 21 days a year over 90 degrees. On those days I try to ride early or late so gear selection is not as critical. At 7 am it will be high 60s and you don't have to wear mesh, you can wear a regular textile or leather jacket.
