Hi everyone... my wife Lisa and I are gearing up for another good ride this year (leaving Sep 9 for 16 days down the west coast and back up via Yosemite and Crater Lake), so yesterday seemed like a good chance to get some miles in and start to get our endurance up. But really, who needs an excuse just to get out and enjoy a wonderful day on the bikes, right? [url=http://karlvandervelden.com/karl-lisa-hitting-the-road-again/]Here's a link to my blog entry for yesterday's ride, and below is a teaser image to reel you in
WSDOT ferry? I love those for exploring that area. Neah Bay and the highway back by Lake Crescent is one of my favourite rides.
I do like the look of Seattle—mountains, racing yachts and motorcycles is an excellent combination.
No disrespect to Lisa, Karl, but I prefer your bike to hers.
That's a pretty nice looking Scout, haven't seen that color combo before. They are both very nice retro styled bikes.
Nice pics on your blog. Thanks for sharing!
Oh man, what a great ride you have planned, and your day ride looked like an excellent adventure as well. HAve fun, ride safe. Looking forward to the ride report.
Cool pics. My brother lives on Whidbey in Freeland. Coupville is a nice spot. If you saw a black Diavel rippin' around there, it's be him.
Can't wait for the ride report . great pics. Bikes on a boat. Love it.
