Got home to San Diego after 14 days and 5200 miles. CB1100 was a great smooth ride at any speed (avg 85/95 mph).
Route from Calif was thru Nev, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, home. Would post more pics, but copied all from my iPhone to PC and they are to large (300 to 500 kb) to post. Great experience. GREAT BIKE!
Now THAT is a road trip. Glad you and the CB made it home.

so did you get wet? lol
Glad you made the round trip safely! It looked like you had the bike packed to the max. Did I see a bag mounted on the front fender?

Only a few drops in Wisconsin and a few more in Arizona. Never broke out rain gear.

Yep. Saddlemans Rollbag.
I really am glad you made the round trip safely. I would have been worried about handling and blocking the air flow from cooling the engine with a bag on the front fender.

Was there anything you packed that you didn't really need or use?
Good for you!
Now plan your spring trip.
Good for you, bflint. Sounds like a fabulous trip. Of course the CB ran like an angel.

Photos would be good. You can overcome the size limit by using a photo hosting site such as Photobucket or Postimage. See [url=http://cb1100forum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1913]this thread on posting pictures for more information.
