So the plans are made, the maps printed, and the hotels are booked. It is time for the end of the school year Epic Road trip II.

This year I'll be heading from Hamilton to Thessalon Ontario to ride highway 129, which some have dubbed Ontarios Tail of the Dragon. From there we will ride the 101 to the 144 which look equally twisty and will no doubt be quite isolated. All told in three days I will be covering 1860 km or 1150 miles in three days. I know it's not nearly as gruelling as the SS1K, but I don't really want it to be, it's just suppose to be a few days with me and my bike and the open road to unwind from the pressure June puts on a school teacher. If anyone is interested I'm posting links to the route below and pictures will follow.

That loop in Northern Ontario looks like a great ride.

I jumped on the Google link and picked a street view of Highway 129. It wasn't long till I came to Cummings Lake.

Photos and tales to look forward to. Goody!
Hey Nortoon, I took a virtual drive down 129 and it is much curvier than google maps is letting on! Anywhere you drop the little man is beatiful lakes and forest and lots of corners.

Yes, I know! Here's a couple of pix I saved until SHMBO called me for supper.

Man I am glad I live in Ontario!

The only thing that would concern me is the distance between gas stations.
First shot of the morning, three days 2000 Kim's just me and the bike and some twisty Northern highways!

Ready to go! For a three day trip, this is ample baggage!!
Looks like you have everything you need. Have fun, ride safe.
For those of us that don't live in Australia.
Hey! Thanks, Nortoon. Kind of you.
