Made a quick ride over to the tenn.tom waterway like to have froze to death wasn't planning on going that far so didn't wear enough cloths hahaha still good to be riding.
Lol glad you didn't freeze . Always good to go for a ride.
It was cold and salty outside.
When I stopped to take a rest, a man, his wife and their dog walked by and mentioned, let it be be, it's too cold.
But nevertheless neither the kitesurfer nor I could be hindered by the cold to do what we like at -3°.
Now I clean the RE a bit, so the dry salt can't damage it...

Love the chrome tank on the Royal Enfield.
Reminds me of my 1966 BSA Lightning.
An old Triumph Speed Twin has the same colour and chrome tank. Formerly Enfields were build in England before the production step by step moved to India. A reason for the similarities. The Bullet Chrom Classic relived them.

On the Royal Enfield web site there are 4 fuel tank colours for the new 2018 Interceptor. It is hard to tell by the picture, but the chrome version appears to be black with a gold pinstripe.

My father-in-law still has his 1969 BSA 650 Lightning that he bought new. He still rides it occasionally but in the 30yrs that I've known him I doubt it has seen more than 300km.

He is meticulous with it. I told him to give me first dibs if he decides to sell it, he gets offers all the time. His son wants it but he has been useless his whole life and wouldn't take care of it so I doubt he'll get it.
The '69 was actually in the movie "Snake Eater" starring Lorenzo Lamas, just as an extra.
