Headed up to Linville Falls Campground (National Park) yesterday morn for a quick overnight camp. I ride a lot up in that area as I rent in a cabin in Spruce Pine a couple times a year. Great trip (except the campground), I got to ride 221 up to Blowing Rock. One of my favorite roads. Traveled 181 up through the Pisgah National Forrest which turned out to be a nice run. Nothing real technical but many high speed corners. And of course the ubiquitous BRP run. Quite busy with Labor Day traffic so I kept that to a minimum.

The Big Girl purred like a kitten the whole way. Impressive bike.

Side note, Linville Falls Winery right off 221 is a must stop for wine lovers. Great wine (for NC, but that caveat is becoming less and less apt) and beautiful grounds. I bought a Cab Sauv that was smokey and deliciously dry.
I've been there and it is a nice place. You should post some pictures of the falls and the area around the falls. Me and the wife stopped by there on one of our Blue Ridge Parkway trips. It was a pleasant time for the both of us. Come to think of it, I may have some pictures of our visit; if I can find them.
You know, I'm just not a picture guy. I always think about it after the fact. Always been that way. It would be nice to have some.
I never take pictures too , it is all stored in my brain.....
Whole region is excellent riding, glad you had a good weekend.
