Here are some miscellaneous pics from this years Fall Men's Trip to West Virginia. The Fall Men's Trip is attended by male members of our family with an occasional invited guest. This year the group included myself (CB1100), my son (FJ-09) my younger brother(Triumph Bonneville) my son's FIL (Honda ST 1300), his nephew (Triumph Bonneville), and a coworker of my son's (Triumph Speed Triple R). 2 Hondas, 3 Triumphs and one Yamaha. Who'd have thought that any group of 6 random motorcyclists would be made up of 50% Triumphs ? lol 5 days, 1108 miles, no breakdowns, no crashes. Weather ranged from 90 and sunny on the first day, to torrential rain on the 4th day and near freezing temperatures on the 5th day. Quite the spread of weather

BTW this is very close to where next years CB1100 forum Rally will be held which will give you an idea of scenery and roads/ riding type.

Looks like great riding country, Ferret.
Great pics, looks incredible!

The third shot, the one of your CB posing in the middle of the road, is fabulous.
Looks like you guys enjoyed some good riding roads. Interesting shot at the gas station that appears to be out of business.

LR That is the entrance to Seneca Rocks. People climb that crag, but there is a walking path to the top.

We had just ridden a really curvy road for an hour in pretty hard rain so I pulled over there for a rest. Kind of fits in with this months photo challenge does it not? lol

The seventh pic down is taken on 219 south in a series of about a dozen banked and dipping esses before you get to Droop Mountain State Park, a famous Civil War spot. It is quite exhilarating to ride thru those esses at speed.
Nice photos, what a fun to time to ride with family and friends. I'd have to ride 850 some miles or about 13 hours just to meet up with my brother if we wanted to meet each other half-way for a ride.
That’s good news, West Virginia is very accessible for me, I have a great chance of being able to come. Even better chance if you delay it til July!!!
