Today probably was my last ride of the year 2018.

Temperature was around 0°C and sun was shining, so I decided to go for a ride.

I headed out to the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swabian-Franconian_Forest,

passed a lighthouse in the hills (well, not really, the Reinhold-Maier-Turm was a water reservoir, nowadays it is an out-look),

came to the frozen Ebnisee (lake Ebni)

and was the only rider at the motorcycle meeting point.

Indeed, that was a fun ride along 189 km. The odometer of my Honda CBF1000F now shows 33,581 km for the end of the year 2018.

Tell me about your last ride of the year.
Very nice! It's 14 degrees F today and my road is completely snow packed, so my last ride of the year will have to be last Sunday's 10-mile ride on the Monkey to add fuel stabilizer and top off the tank. It was in the 30's then, and I froze.
DJ: Very nice pics. The images have soul.

(... but no CB in sight?)
Well hopefully my last ride of 2018 will be Monday, and my first ride of 2019 will be Tuesday
too much rain here. chance for a ride tomorrow and that's it.
