Yep Ferret, it was the Brown Burro Cafe. Good memory. It’s one of my favorite go-to spots on my CB1100 Sunday morning breakfast rides, though my favorite waitress, Tiffany, recently up and left and moved back to Missouri.

Stichill, I warned you about US 285! Sorry it was so congested but I hope you had fun passing everyone on the way up Kenosha Pass and Red Hill Pass! Incidentally, the town of Fairplay is nearly 10,000’ in elevation. With all that heat, I’m sure it didn’t feel like it!

My cousin has a cabin above Fairplay and we spent a week there a few years ago. It's a very interesting area. Fairplay has a lot of culture for a little town. Orchestra, theater, dance, etc. My aunt's theory was that the town is used by the FBI as a hideout for folks from NY in the witness protection program.

I will come back with more episodes soon. Mrs. Stichill had a bout in the hospital and it’s been chaotic. She’s back home tonight, hopefully for good but I’m wiped out!
