Hi all. Bit cold but bone dry so seized the moment and went off exploring! Visited a place called Goxhill in Lincolnshire that I used to live in around 1991-95. There is a WW2 airfield there. Quite a bit has changed TBH and nature has reclaimed a lot. I used to walk my dogs all over the airfield (because you could back then), it had the control tower, buildings, hangars, all runways, pill boxes, everything really. The Control Tower was actually bought and moved over to America and is now in a living museum over there. Amazing really. Took a few snaps along the way, hope you like them.

The nest of brambles behind my bike is actually a big pill box, if you look closely you can spot it. It was totally clear last time I was there and you could easily climb inside.
Glad you were able to ride despite the cold. Love the color combo on your bike.

So much history there and much of it quite close by.
Thanks Jfro. Thumbs Up
Great retrospective Jfro, and I really like the CB1100 fashion. Thanks for sharing.
That is a beautiful looking bike! Would love to see a photo taken from the rider's position, looking down on the tank to see how the color combo from above.
