Nice, one of my favorite things about riding when I first started riding in 1965 was feeling the temp change in dips. Something you never felt in a car. That and the smells.

I clicked 1st at 7am just before sunrise (time change). 54 chilly degrees as I ponder turning around to put on a few more layers. Naw, I'll be fine. Headed north from Brandon through 2 lane country roads all the way up to Hwy 50. There were a few low spots (dips) in Spring Lake Rd that made my lips quiver. No kidding the temp would drop 20 degrees in 3 seconds as you reached the bottom of the dip and made your way out to warmer air. A new experience for me for sure. I met the fellas at 9 sharp. Headed north from the Speedway through some of the best Florida has to offer. This was all new tar for me. Epic to say the least.

Yes, the smells are quite different too. One minute you're riding by a orange or strawberry grove, the next a dairy farm.
Only had a few hours for seat time this week. A little windy, but otherwise near perfect weather today. This is one of my favorite back roads that winds around several large vegetable farms east of Brandon. And just for me they put down a fresh coat of black top.

New blacktop is awesome.

I really try hard to avoid riding roads with no centerline.
Have a name or number for that road DBM? Looks like good'n.

Yes sir. I stop and smell the roses (strawberries) on every ride this time of year.
My family plans for this weekend were kinda up in the air until the last minute. I had until 1pm today to ride and meet the family for Easter dinner. I have included a link to my tracks from Brandon to Floral City. This is some of the best riding in Florida. Enjoy.
