Another short 90 mile ride (just love this bike!) and 2 reminders of the extended drought here in California. Lake Berryessa low and smoke from the Dixie and/or River fires in the air. A ride last week was much nicer with clean air.
I've got an early warning system... if I hear hovering helicopters, I know that this hills near my house are burning, and they're filling up at the reservoir across the street from me.

I've never gotten worse than lots of ash on my street, guess I can't complain much about that when I still have a house.

Been thinking it's been hotter than normal inside my warehouse this summer. I just remembered that last year, I sealed up the vents around the skylights on the roof because the Santa Ana winds were blowing lots of ash into them and all over my stuff. Ugh, guess I'll keep it hot to keep it clean.
