Nice action bridge snap Ferret.

The last time I crossed the Mississippi River was while in Memphis, TN.

All the other times was to and fro Ottawa, Ontario.

Sea, first off there is no way to improve on your ride report. When I read them I realize you are indeed a story teller, conveying thoughts and feelings, while I am merely a reporter, reporting facts and figures. There is a big difference between the two. Yours entertains, while mine merely informs.

We may have been a diverse group on this trip, by age, gender, socio-economic backgrounds, and professions, but we had one thing in common, traveling to far away places by motorcycle, experiencing feelings that only motorcyclists feel. The wind, the sun on your face, the cool in the dips, the imperceptible vibrations of a gasoline combustion engine, how a motorcycle leans through the curves. Amazed that what was once a distant point before us, becomes a distant point in the rear view mirrors ... an event that happens hundreds of times in a days journey. How the sun starts in one position, and ends in a polar opposite direction. How at the end of a day of riding something as big as a good meal, or as small as a cigar, cocktail, or cup of hot tea brings comfort and joy, as does the comfortable bed, soft pillow and warm blanket as you close your eyes for the night and ponder repeating those feelings all over again the following day.

Great trip, great friends, great experience. Again, we are so blessed.
