Today we took a very scenic ride from the Alpine Inn in Little Switzerland, down the diamondback, up the Devils Whip, got Marsha up Mt. Mitchell for the first time, and continued on the rest of the awesome hwy 80 all the way up to Roan Mountain (still in progress). we picked the absolute peak leaf color weekend. Its totally stunning up here.

Nice we are approaching peak color here in SW Ohio. It's stunning to ride in the morning sun.

Yep thats the Alpine Inn where were staying. Could not reccomend it more. Really cool tiny place to stay. Homemade skillet breakfast in the morning on the balcony.

You picked a great weekend to visit MrP. Wish i was free to tag along. Enjoy!

Wow, that looks like an awesome ride. I'd love to see leaves change color here. We have green and dead.
