Just added a new seat constructed on the OEM seat pan by LAAM Motorcycle Seats. I am very happy with overall construction and the seating position. I will need to put some more miles on it to determine ridability. The turn around time was fast and Seth the owner talked me through the entire process. The price is reasonable with a limited lifetime warranty.

Looks comfy! Do you mind us asking how much that set you back?

The seat was $269.00 I paid an additional $21.00 to ship my seat pan out.
It should be quite comfortable on longer rides. The builder emulated the "wings" on each side that you see on a Russell Day-Long saddle. Those distribute your weight better than a typical saddle shape.

At over $600 for a Russell, you may have done quite well with your guy.
I like the seat. Is that seating position a bit forward than stock?? Is the seat the same height as stock??

The seat is the same height as the stock seat but because of the added padding on the sides it seems like I have more leg room. I find that I sit further back in the seat with no sliding forward into the tank. I have owned several Sargent seats, the build quality is equal to or better than the Sargent seat.
