Hi silascopathic,
Any significant difference in riding . I am planning to fix one cause my riding pleasure is murdered because of the wind .. Please advise if it is worth spending $ 400 and compromising the look for the Cowl ???

Please Advise .....

Cheers !!!!!!
I feel like the cowl definitely adds to the look and keeps the wind off my chest. Took it for a small ride today, had it up to 60 and the difference is pleasantly noticeable!

Highly recommend!

Very nice!..It makes it look more exotic...I can"t wait to see the other mods you plan on putting.
Wheels and pipes in August for sure
beauty..!
Thank you!!! I fall more and more in love with this bike every day
ok so i have been on the highway with this fairing and have gone to 80mph. this thing is sold. i went to home depot and bought nylon lock bolts and rubber washers and loctite. the hardware that comes with it is really nice but comes loose with vibration in various places. SOOOOO i bought rubber washers and locking bolts to secure and dampen the vibration. the loctite is for the 2 screws for the braces on the fork.

the screen definitely needs to be tinted ( i just like that look) I am thinking of tinting it translucent brown...... i am planning a brown and cream color scheme ... which you will all start to see Wink

overall the cowl is great! not significant wind resistance but definitely a nice change. the fairing it strong but can still bend so be careful when installing as not to bend it.

i give this an 8 out of 10 (tinted plexi and better hardware woulda made it a 10)
Your bike looks really sweet! Can you tell me if the aluminum on the cowl is clear coated or just raw metal?
Look great.
its raw metal and awesome! be careful though, because it can be bent. i currently am awaiting another as the first one bit the farm when i layed the bike down.
