Hi Guys,

I finally got the bike back up to the workshop on Thursday night. I definitely need some heated gear - BRRRRRRRR!

My wife bought me some presents for my Birthday and I was able to put them on. Carbon Air Cleaner Covers, a Carbon Shifter/Sprocket Cover, Gold Anodized Resevoir covers and an oil cooler shroud.

Plus I gave her a nice wax with Adam's Glaze and Americana Wax. Man I love this bike!

Anyway - here are some pics:

Bling won't get you home, but it sure looks good!

Looking good! You guys have got to quit posting pics of those red side covers !!
Very Nice. You have a very clean, good looking bike.

The carbon fiber covers looks great - they look a lot better on the bike than when viewed in a catalog. The air cleaner and sprocket covers are a perfect compliment to the side covers. I really like the look.

Where did you get all your goodies? Is that a Corbin seat?
Yes, it does look good. Nice job.
Thank Guys,

I really enjoy this bike. Its been in NYC, so I have just hit 600 mi. Time for a tune up.

If I were to do it over again, I would use the Force Design Air Cleaner covers. These are Coerce, and the twill of the fiber is not the same as the other pieces. Its nitpicking, but it would look better.

The seat is a Corbin, CF material with charcoal piping. Very comfortable.

I ordered everything from webbike - except the seat.

Does anyone make a chrome chainguard for the CB1100?

Yup! I ordered mine from Takashi at samurider.com. Looks great!
Be advised I have read in a couple of places that any sort of cover on the oil cooler is a BAD thing. Even that one you have can raise the temp of the oil by as much as 20°F in normal summer temps, let alone either spirited riding or really hot temps.
Just an FYI.
Very nice!
That is a super looking CB11!! Love those red sidecovers..
Randy,

I will keep an eye out for the heat. I never really thought about it, as its so pourous. I do a lot of city riding, so I know what kind of heat the engone has been giving off. Anything gets crazy, off it comes... its just a 10mm bolt and some elbow grease!

Thanks for the heads up!

I also put on chrome Guage Covers and a Chrome Headlight Bucket

Yes - that's a '76 Granddad in the corner. He's very proud of his Grandson....
