have been following this board for about a week now and am hoping to buy me one of these nice CB's one day.
And I got to convert it into a cafe racer, over time
Meanwhile I was hoping to rely on you guys' expertise...I wanted to know if anybody can ID this seat?

Its not that seat. The plastic of my pic goes over the edge.
On your seats the leather of the seat goes over the edge.
It could be a custom seat.
Hi Riko, that is my bike and the seat is a custom unit hand crafted by a friend of mine here in Melbourne Australia. We took a little extra care and fabricated the unit to attach using the standard key lock system so it's very easy to put the dual seat back on the bike for passengers. You'll notice that unit covers the frame and has slots for the indicator stalks - this is to give it a more horizontal line like old school cafe racers. I removed the grab rails but otherwise the frame is untouched. Below is a pic of the bike to show rear end so you can see how the tail lamp was accommodated. Tail lamp is mounted to custom made fibreglass splash guard (moulded off the original chrome mudguard) so that changing seats does not impact the tail lamp operation. Hope that gives you some ideas on what can be done. I love the look of the bike's rear end and now to fabricate a smaller front mudguard and paint the side covers.
