Takashi wanted to share a picture of my bike with the folks over a Chic Design.
I removed the rear carrier/sissy bar and put on the OEM seat to show the Chic Design fenders on a more standard bike.
Unfortunately I'm still snowed in so I couldn't find a decent spot to take a good picture.
I like the more standard look and may keep the bike that way until late Spring when my lovely wife will want to go riding.
What do you think?

:-) red crank case oil fill cap made me smile. I still like my chrome fenders but do have same fairing and side plates as you.
I think your custom seat adds a finishing touch look to the other work you've done to the bike. Leave the rack off for now, but put your custom seat back on imo.
If someone were to describe in words what you did to a CB1100 with the red parts, I would have thought it would be too much, but seeing it.... I think it works. Nice.
To each his own, love is like art; it is personal taste, and we all have different taste. I'll try and get a picture of mine tomorrow if it is sunny and warm enough that I can wash it. I do have the red oil filler cap also.

Elipten, Looking forward to seeing your bike.
I tried to make my bike "unique". Of course I could have spray painted the entire bike orange and ended up unique.
Here's a picture of the bike with the K&H seat.
Fenders are a 30 minute swap out if I want to go chrome.
Ummm.....might have to get chrome side covers and aluminum cowl and change the bike's look every now and then.

I understand that the rear rack is practical, but somehow without it, it has tied it all together in my eyes......Nice bike....

Looks " domestic" with the rack ( as I understand it must be) ... Looks fast without it lol
Looks like a totally different bike than mine, and I mean that in a good way. Nice mods. I stretched my budget just getting the bike. The extras will have to wait. Although I really want to get some of the blast off my torso.
