Those look like the stock panels used on the Canadian models. I thought they were gray, but I'm also colorblind

Lol I thought they were gray too, I'm guessing it's just the reflection of lighting. I was hesitant to get gloss black panels cuz it didn't look quite right, but seeing these flats on the bike looks very nice; it compliments the seat and injection panels.
