You need "some" fender showing, looks like something is missing without it...like the fender!

Those absurdly expensive "goofy looking (Chic Design) fenders" lets some of the water coming off the rear tire to sprinkle the back of the bike.
But you probably alreay know that.

I would like to replace it with a smaller , closer to fender mount, and preferably without replacing the fender.
