Curious as to how it mounts and if it is as well made as the Honda rack.

Yes - I have fitted one.

It mounts using the four grab handle bolts - excellent quality and rock solid.

Check out "Another K&H Seat" in Accessories/Modifications.

No but I have the Givi rack SR1118 that has that feature plus a rack and goes along with the lines of the bike IMHO.

I attach some detailed pics of my todays install. Kijima from Samurider on my 2013 std with stock seat.

Nice finish, nice functional accesory.
