LOL I promise this'll be the last one for a while. Please feel free to pick up where I'm leaving off!
As for the new item...it's a secret...
In the meantime, you shamed me into taking a few cell pics. Still haven't got the SuperBrace on, but everything else is installed -
I'm usually not a big fan of aftermarket fairings, but I think this bike's going to see more long distance rides than I normally do, and I wanted a little "protection". Got the NC Street Shield EX with the quick-release set-up, so I can whip it on or off as needed. Not a bad looking unit especially for its size. I like the dark gradient tint at the bottom, too:

This one may upset the purists,
but I just have to have adjustable levers. I put them on all my bikes, they really seem to make a huge difference in "feel" to me. Bad pic, but also showing the Grip Puppies and Crampbuster here:

Michael - I thought the folks here got everything there is to git for a CB. I'll be looking for your post and pictures.
If the ECM comes in this weekend, what will have been the downtime on your bike?
Papa - your bike is looking good. Black is much better looking that silver when it comes to side panels.
Let us know if you experience any wind noise with the fairing.

One of the good things about the US models—2013 and 2014—is that Honda put decent CB1100 badges on the side panels. My 2011 Australian model has an inadequate decal on the grey panel. Not nearly as nice.

cormanus,
You can order the badges---http://www.partsfish.com/oemparts/a/hon/511a8dd9f870022e4ccd326b/mark-stripe

CB4Me: I took my ECM off Tuesday night after 9pm. Mailed it over nite the next day. So if I get it back Friday the down time would be 2 1/2 days if it comes Friday 3 1/2 days. I will let you know! Did you see my side cover emblems? There from a 1970 cb750 looks pretty good. My other surprize should look good also and put me in first place as far as farkles
lol

Ridem32 and CB4ME - thanks for the kind words.
Lovin' this bike, and really glad I found this site, especially for all the aftermarket/farkle info. Great seeing everybody's "personalizations", too, allowing me to pick and choose the pieces I like. "Carry on, boys!"

Papa Weely (cute play on words BTW) just love your signature line

Cracks me up!

Ha! Thanks - just my own little contribution to the collective levity!

I've got to get my avatar loaded here, too, which helps folks get the play on words. It's always surprising how many people don't get that username!
