Do we know for sure that the comet works on the '14? I like that look too and I'd probably go for it if it worked.

Chic Design has the 2014 DLX covered with a redesign to accomodate the raised headlight. Mr T is standing by to take your order.

I've been thinking about painting the "Honda" letters on the engine, too....thanks for showing what it would look like!

I have a set on my old FZ1 that I sold my brother that's still hanging on tight for at least 5 or 6 years. Wonder if the environment has anything to do with how long they last?

Probably. It's hot and wet here...riding through puddles etc. is bound to have an effect.

Yes sir, that is the touring screen on the Chic Design. I like it better than the small Nat Cycle windscreen I had. My helmet is in good, clean air. I am only 5' 8".

If I did stripes now I would take the wheel off the bike. Also I'm confused what that is on your engine gaurd! One pic looks like a highway peg but the other I can't tell what it is?!
Those are Kuryakyn highway pegs on the crash bars. They may look odd because they are in the folded up position. There are a whole buncha pics here:
