Takashi is the man. I personally don't think $1100 is that bad for a new tank with increased capacity and the 2014 side covers. Not a bad way to refresh your bike for those of us not able to spend the cash to trade-in and pick up a 2014 dlx.

Joola - it's probably a little less than $1100 (money left over for the rubber end thingies).

Takashi is asking 83,000 yen for the tank (about $810 US right now). He has the matte black side panels for 18,900 yen ($185) and I suspect the other colors are about the same. Shipping would be 50% off if you spend over 100K yen.

The standard tanks are less. 79,000 yen or $770 US (exchange rate is $97.45 for 10,000 yen.)

I really hope someone in the US goes with the white, gray or silver.

Other than the added fuel capacity the tank shape is actually growing on me! Does anyone know what bike takashi rides?
