Not to worry. "Red Mist," the ECU Flash Genius, could never figure out that you'd have to tune the ECU to the bike to make it work best either.

Whatever happened to that guy? He must be educating the Yamaha FZ forums now.

I hesitate to beat on the guy, but he was so condescending to us "older folks" over the ECU flash topic it really annoyed me. Especially when he clearly didn't have what I consider a basic understanding of FI tuning...that was just too much.
