Shad makes a rear rack & quick connect for top box I got the SH45
Total cost $250 shipped with back rest ( not yet installed )

I've got the smaller Shad top-case (29, IIRC) in red. The mounting plate looks like it was made for the factory rack, and the red color is very close to the '13 paint. Unless you look close, of course.

I've always used Givi luggage before, but honestly, for less than half the cost, the Shad stuff is good enough for me. Maybe if I were doing Iron Butt rides regularly or otherwise really beating on the gear I'd feel differently. But for my occasional weekend rides, the Shad case has worked great for over a year and is holding up just fine.

I agree, Shad provides a valuable top-case range. I bought a SH46, monted it on original Honda rack, I am quite happy with it.
