the bolt that tightens the clip ons is the issue. they are designated for left and right. so i couldn't even swap them and try a different angle

i'm just gonna exchange it for the light clutch kit or maybe something else
YUP. That'll do.
tank looks great on there Silas
Silas -

You've completely transformed the CB1100! An amazing transformation at that.

I wouldn't be surprised to see your bike on on a custom bike website like Planet Japan Blog: http://planetjapanblog.blogspot.com/

Congratulations.
CB4ME , thank you! Phase 2 has definitely kicked off to a great start!! I'm sooo happy about this build!
I still think that a set of clip-ons would absolutely complete the look of your bike. Maybe you could find a different set that would work with your new tank?
Do you still have the black seat to see how it would look, especially since the bike is mostly black and silver, it may blend better.
Great job Silas! I dig your ride, it's wicked cool! Thumbs Up
Oh ya, you have nailed it. Worship
They forgot to paint it.

"Some assembly required."

Seriously, your bike looks super! Those grips remind me of the original CB 750 grips. We used to call them "titty-grips" because they were big and soft and fun to squeeze.
