today I received my awaited seat from Samurider. I explored several option from 2014 DLX seat, through custom made seat, but I ended up with Tiros K style seat which offers nice retro look and should offer more comfort too.
This night I´m going to stencil a Honda logo on the back.
We have hail and snowstorms now so I don´t know when I´m going to try out :-(
I´ll provide some decent pics of the seat on my bike as soon as possible. I heard complains on wrinkled Tiros seat cover but the one I received is nicely firm and straight. Maybe they sorted the production and made it better.
Man, this farkling is an expensive fever!
yeah, and it always bugs me to buy something the bike already has and came with, like a seat.......my K&H High was pricey too.
VTR,
I would be interested to find out how you like the Tiros seat in terms of comfort and seat height. Even though I have a 2014 dlx that has the more retro looking seat, I like the looks of the Tiros seat as it has even more of a retro look. I am hoping one day Tiros will manufacture that seat for my bike.
I´d love to give you a riding report and feedback but we have 2 inches of fresh snow with ice glazing under that snow and temps at around 26 F. I just installed the seat on the bike and tried to sit on. It is firm, and significantly higher then stock seat. We will see...
Not sure about it but because stock seats are interchangeable from STD do DLX and vice versa, couldn´t you use this seat on your DLX?
Congratulations!
I love mine. The seat is much more comfortable, and taller enough than the stocker to give me the added legroom I needed on my bike. Best improvement I've made on mine for comfort - you're going to love it.

yay! here we go. Today´s weather - not so good.
Seat looks good. Hope you find it comfortable. Do they use salt to clear the roads in the Czech Republic?
Yes, majority of main roads is treated with salt. Only locations with higher environment and nature protection and areas of water sources are treated with inert materials such as sand. I took the bike outside only to take pic, no riding on salt for my cars and bikes apart from my daily driver Jetta!
I've had mine about a year and at 6' 1", it made the bike much more comfortable for me over stock! Also added the retro grab rail. Love mine.
